OUR TEAM

Founding Members and Officers

Larisa Chukwulebe (President)

  • Larisa Chukwulebe is current President of Resolve Foundation. Inspired by their children, Dr. Bernard and Mrs. Larisa Chukwulebe championed the creation of Resolve Foundation to reflect their family’s commitment to empowering younger generation and providing them with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing and socio-economically challenging world. Over the years, they have watched how the gap between the rich and the middle class widened while opportunities for our younger generations continued to narrow. Healthcare costs are  getting out of reach and mounting debt is increasingly stifling growth opportunities for many young Americans. The Chukwulebe family is committed to using their resources, networks and experience in pursuit of a key mission to invest in youths, technologies and ideas that can bring positive change  and ensure a more prosperous, peaceful and just future for all. Mrs. Chukwulebe  has over 15 years volunteering experience and also works as a local Insurance Agent in the Chicago area.

Dr. Bernard Chukwulebe (Board Chairman)

  • Dr. Chukwulebe is a Steel Industry professional with over 25 years in the industry. Bernard began his early years as a Metallurgical Engineer and later worked four years as a full time University Lecturer before rejoining the Steel Industry at ArcelorMittal in 1999. He has since then been in R&D focusing on developing and implementing process solutions for modern Steel Manufacturing with emphasis on Advanced High Strength Steels and data-driven Smart Manufacturing. Bernard brings strong technical, organizational and communication skills that are required to  lead efficient board while keeping the foundation focused on its stated mission. Bernard has many years of volunteering experience being a member of the St. Ann Catholic Church Ushers group since 2003 and serving in the St. Ann Catholic School Board since 2017. He enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends and is a passionate advocate for the application of modern technology in resolving social problems.

Aliona Chukwulebe (Operations)

  • Aliona is a rising Chicago area Singer and Songwriter with passion for social work. She graduated from Purdue University Northwest majoring in Communications-Advertising and is putting what she learnt from communications and integrated marketing into use in volunteering for Resolve Foundation while pursuing her dream of becoming a famous artist. "I took classes like Multi-Track Music Recording, Social Media and Public Relations, Advertising, Photography, Cinematography, Journalism, Literature, Writing and so on. Looking back, I felt a lot like I was never in the know about main issues that are being debated in our society and the news. Issues like healthcare, taxes, gun violence and gun laws; and even student debt were and sometimes still are very complicated to understand, but are things that actually shape our future. I am currently in my 20's and I still feel like I need help to better understand these issues. Because there aren't many opportunities for young people's opinions to be heard I feel proud to volunteer for  Resolve Foundation whose mission it is to empower the youth. I wanted to take a step further and use what I learned in order to help Resolve Foundation and to build my career as an independent artist." Aliona work’s closely with the President, members and partners of Resolve Foundation on all matters of the organization. More about Aliona at www.alionamedia.com.
